A Minnie Adventure

I’m not entirely sure who’ll be more excited by these photos, my nieces… or me!

I had a little meet and greet with Mrs Mouse.

She was absolutely adorable!

She looked utterly chic in her red velvet Christmas coat, layered skirts and fur hat.

We danced, cuddled, posed and finally said our goodbyes. She curtsied, I bowed.

We headed off through the park in search of some adrenaline.

Planted a kiss firmly on a big wet nose.

Indulged in a few treats.

And took a trip to the pink castle.

I had no idea that you could venture inside, but if it’s even possible… the inside is better than the shell!

It’s enough to make you come over all princessy and swoonish.

Inside it became clear who’s castle it is.

Sleeping Beauty’s!

The stained glass windows and scattered story books tell her tale.

In the dungeon you’ll find the dragon, naturally.

He snoozes peacefully until surrounded by selfie taking princes and princesses then leaps into life and breaths smoke over the lot!

Mum found her adrenaline fix at the Small World ride.

A gentle float through an underground river, past different lands populated by singing puppets.

And I found mine at Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster, the Aerosmith coaster that goes from standing to 60miles an hour in 2.8 seconds, while playing awesome music at full blast, in the dark!

Very proud to say that mum loved it too!

We played around in the studios for a little while, this seemed like the most fitting prop:

Polar neck // Tartan skort

Tights

Rain boots

(Possibly the best boots I’ve ever bought, I HATE wet toes. These keep them toasty and dry but still look like black riding boots.)

I think it’s safe to say Disney really blew me away.

Mum finally remembered where she parked her car.

The rain got a little heavier, so we ducked inside. A brass band played all of our favourite Christmas songs, and we couldn’t resist a little boogie.

We lost track of time and late, as usual, we raced over to the steak house for lunch.

Had a bite to eat and set off for more adventures.

But I’ll tell you all about those tomorrow!
