Watson and I popped out to see a film last night.
Marvel very sweetly invited me to come and check out their new epic superhero movie, Guardians of The Galaxy.
Now, my friend Phoebe is a HUGE Marvel fan, so how could I possibly say no?
We headed to Michael Van Clarke to get ‘red carpet ready’ and grab a spot of lunch.
^ I think the girls’ faces say it all.
We tucked into caesar salads and gossipped about Phoebe’s love life (leaving the hairdressers in fits of giggles).
Doesn’t she look like a Marvel character in her own right?

We stepped into a phonebooth to Superman into our evening outfits and headed out in search of cocktails.

We bounced around, enjoying the music and the raw energy from the excited crowd.
Before finally making our way onto the “red” (blue) carpet.
^ This lovely lady (who remained amazingly calm considering how busy she was!) collared me and shoved me in front of the wall of photographers.
They all scream at you to look left, right, up, down…
… and I scuttled out as fast as I could!
Eventually, after all the excitement we finally took our seats for the film.
The cast gave us a little speech, and the real adventure began.
A rip roaring tale with a killer soundtrack. If you’re a Marvel fan, you will have the time of your life, I guarantee it!
You could say you’ll have a Marvel-lous time! Or a Super time… or a WONDERful time… I could go on, but don’t worry I wont.
Later we zipped off to our afterparty and a very late supper, before polishing the evening off at Maddox. We came home exhausted and stayed up late with cups of tea in bed.
