Autumn Knits

I can’t say I was thrilled by the prospect of Autumn arriving on our doorstep.

It’s been a bit of a soggy summer and I just didn’t feel ready to move on just yet.

But I’ve decided to pull myself together and dive headfirst into the leaves, the knitwear, the never ending cups of tea, the crunchy afternoon walks in the golden light. The local kids have gone back to school and run giggling, as carefree as ever, along the pavements each morning and afternoon. Lily has been making friends at the playground. It almost feels as though life is getting back to some sort of normality. After a spring and summer on pause, it feels good.

No matter how old I get, September always feels like a new school year. A fresh start. I want to go out and buy new pencils and patent Mary Jane shoes.

But instead, I’ve been stocking up on snuggly knitwear.

The fluffier the better.

These fuzzy fellows come from Paris, and arrived wrapped in the most beautiful packaging. I’ll pop a few favourites below, but you should really check out the entire collection.
