After a good family slosh around in our enormous tub (if you missed the house tour, start here!) we were all ravenous!
So pulled on all of our winter warmers.
And headed out into the crisp autumn sunshine.

Lily hopped into her chariot.
And suggested we stop messing around and find some breakfast already.
So off we went!
The best bit of waking up on your baby’s schedule?
You generally get the place to yourself!
No-one else is daft enough to be up with the birds!
So we got to experience the charm of Chipping Campden, all to ourselves.
It felt a little like being on a film set, or a toy town just set up for us to play with.
We strolled the length and breadth of the highstreet and finally settled ourselves in Huxleys.
Where Goldilocks found her porridge.
And mama bear found the most spectacular frittata filled with bacon, sausage, potatoes and molten cheese.
Just what the doctor ordered!
Full and happy, Lily fell straight to sleep, leaving us footloose and fancy free to explore a little more.
Forgive the sheer number of photos, I just love little English villages too much to keep them to myself!
Eventually we found ourselves back home.
Where we pulled on some wellies, and went out again to enjoy the sunshine.
There’s nothing better than a country walk on a full tummy, isn’t that right Lily?
Off we went with nowhere particular in mind, our eyes on the horizon and hills to be conquered.
Nowhere to be, nothing to do but breathe in every bit of country air and every drop of autumn sunshine.
