Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s day is a funny one.

It means something different to almost everyone you’ll meet.

To some single people it means misery and a reminder that they’re alone. To others it means a sigh of relief that they don’t have to make an effort. To others it’s an excuse to treat themselves! (The best idea, if you ask me.)

Some couples revel in it, they cover the house in rose petals, pop open a bottle of the good stuff and spoil each other rotten. Others find all they need in a cuppa and a card in bed.

There is no right or wrong way to feel about Valentine’s Day.

For me it’s a general love day, rather than just a couple’s smush fest, a reminder to tell those I love just how much they mean to me. To remind them of their worth and thank them for being around.

But it’s quite fun to treat my actual Valentine too!

In case you’re after some trinket to spoil yours with, I’ve popped a few options below. Whether you’re shopping for him, her or yourself, just remember it’s the thought that counts and if you’ve found a partner who treats every day as Valentine’s Day then count your lucky stars and be sure to return the favour.

All this time
The Sun never says to the Earth,

“You owe me.”

What happens
With a love like that,
It lights the whole sky.”

Will you be pushing the boat out or snuggling up with a good flick?
