In the midst of the utter chaos that is Victoria and Victoria station, comes a shining beacon of hope.

The best burgers in London finally have a permanent home here, no need to trek east to a burger van in a car park any longer.

Bleecker Burger has arrived.

Ok, so it might not be the sit-down-diner-style restaurant we might have hoped for.

Instead it’s a sleek, black, no nonsense, standing room only sort of vibe.

But let’s be honest, you’re here for the burgers, not the decor.

And burgers really don’t come any better than these.

The finest ingredients, cooked properly, served simply.

It’s worth taking a gang and trying a few.

Whatever you do, be sure to get the following…

Double bacon cheeseburger.

A classic.

Double cheeseburger.

Duh.

And my personal favourite, The Bleecker Black.

A double cheeseburger with a layer of black pudding, puddin’.

You know what they say, once you go black you never go back.

Oh and don’t even think about skipping the sides.

Prepare to have your life changed by Angry Fries.

Spicy, tangy, umami explosion all over fluffy skin-on-chips.

Oh, the black and white shake?

Also unmissable.

Enough talk, time to get stuck in.

Find them outside Victoria Station, 205 Victoria St.

Open every day from 11.30am – 11pm, except Sunday when they close at 10.

Ideal little casual spot, great for a group, a quick lunch or a pre/post-party binge.

Plus Victoria isn’t too bad of a spot, as long as you look up past the never ending construction…

In fact it’s pretty damn beautiful.

Happy Fryday!
