We finally watched our last sunrise from Huvafen Fushi.
Went for an early breakfast, a bit of a swim and walked our way around the island.
Utterly brilliant, seriously comfy Raisins bikini
Scooped up s’more ice-cream.
And devoured every last drop.
We made the most of the shallows in front of the villa and lounged happily.
Later, mum found me sprawled out in one of the nook ‘n’ crannies dotted about the place.
She was (understandably) jealous of my hang out, and thought she’d try it for herself…
…”Sure! Up you get!” I said, as I hopped down into the waves.
It’s safe to say, it’s not quite as easy as it looks!
But she made it in the end.
And then there was just no getting her off it!
But eventually lunch time came around and we got the call that it was time to go.
We said goodbye to the friends we’d made (the staff truly make you feel like one of the family) and sorrowfully climbed into our boat.
Waving as we sped towards the horizon.
Having taken one last, lustful look at Huvafen Fushi, we set our sights onwards.
Keeping a look out for our new home.

We pulled in to Reethi Rah‘s blindingly turquoise harbour about half an hour later.
Checked in with cups of iced tea and frosty cool, jasmine scented towels.
Our room wasn’t quite ready yet, so we went off to find some lunch.
Around every corner there’s a new picture perfect, postcard view to take your breath away.
It really is the most spectacularly beautiful resort.
We finished lunch with the most incredible ice cream.
Naturally sweetened and made from coconut milk. It’s naturally dairy free and exceptionally good!
I’m going to have a go at recreating it at home, so will let you know if I nail the recipe.
After lunch we were led to our room.
A bungalow over the ocean.
I have wanted to snooze in one of those hammocks since I was a little girl, so pretty much grinned from the second we saw them!
Now, I did spy something on our way to the room.
We were led past an endless, white, sandy beach with crystal clear waters… and an inflatable play area!
There was only one thing for it, we were going to have to go straight there!
Mum had a little difficulty with the climbing handles.
To be fair, it is much harder than it looks!
But well worth the effort for any overgrown child.
If relaxing is more your thing, don’t worry there’s a fluffy white sun lounger with your name on it!
After a tough day of adventuring, we showered off the salt, slathered on after sun and got set for supper.
