There’s nothing better than a really good picnic.
Except maybe a picnic with friends, by the sea, watching the sunset with a big ol” box of wine.
That’s probably better.
And exactly what we did!
Chopped tomatoes with fetta & Kalamata olives.
Artichokes.
Cherries.
Spinach, radish, courgette & tomato salad.
Grissini.
Potato salad with lemon & capers.
Martin.
Lina.
Valentinadoodle!
Woiinnee lookin’ foiiiinnee!
Ok, I’ll stop now.

We stayed chatting through the sunset.
Hideously stereotypical… the boys chatted business & the girls talked out what we’re going to do with our hair for Middsommar. There’s a lot of pressue! Especially now the weather’s looking like it might not rain after all.
It all ended as all good picnics end. With a bread-saber fight.
I’m finding Sweden a little tricky just because I can’t understand a single word other than “Hello” (Hej hej) or “Thanks” (Tack)… and now Picnic (picknick!).
Thankfully everyone is overwhelmingly friendly & keen to try out their English on a real-life English person.
Helsingborg isn’t a big tourist town so apparently we’re pretty exotic over here. Even having brown hair seems to be a novelty!
I guess I’d better make the most of it!
