Last week I went on a very snap-happy lunchdate.
I can’t tell you who with because he was playing hooky from work, but I can tell you we went to The Saatchi Gallery.
We met in the middle of Sloane Square and had to run the whole way to avoid the Spring showers that seem to be gracing London at the moment.
Safe & dry inside, we strolled around the gallery chatting about everything & nothing.
He’s totally fascinated by the whole blogging world so dragged my camera away from me & took charge as chief photographer for the afternoon.
Here’s our date, through his eyes…
Having been fairly traumatised by the Soviet Union “Criminal Government” pieces & storing up nightmares for weeks to come, we decided to head to lunch at The Mess.
A much more ‘date-friendly’ venue to see out the afternoon.
Obviously I had to wrangle the camera away from him to snap this beauty.
Steamed dorade royale, couscous, bok choy & some sort of apple puree (a bit odd to be honest, but the rest was delicious).
Followed by pineapple carpaccio & coconut sorbet.
I’m working with the Kardashian brand at the mo to promote their new “Kollection” at DP, so I got to choose my own little piece.
I plumped for the pink-dipped blazer, black T, Nobody jeans, Celine boots, Zara scarf & a Mulberry hobo bag.
I think he’s pretty good at this bloggin’ lark! Maybe I should let him take over for a while…
