Last night the captain of the Argentinian polo team, Nacho Figeras hosted a little shindig at Ralph Lauren.
They were celebrating the “build your own polo” range & putting on an Argentinian inspired fashion show.
An invitation to one of my favourite stores with Pimms, champagne, a fashion show and hot polo players?
RSVP – Yes please!
Blazer’s an old one (similar here), dress from Brandy M, Prada bag, vintage boots (similar here).
We arrived late, but just in time for the show.
This white, silk dress just makes my heart ache…
I love the dropped back and the way the skirt flows at the bottom.
Intensely glamourous men & women stood watching, draped in Hermes & Louboutins. Even a Kardashian would have felt bag envy here.
Ralph Lauren have all of the dresses on their US page, but sadly not their British one. After the show we wandered the floors of the RL house. Chatted excitedly to polo players, ran into old friends, met readers & tried on gorgeous gowns… before stumbling upon a hidden table football set up.
Phoebe’s new favourite tshirt is from Mango (via ASOS). She thrashed me 3 times in a row, so we gave up and went to play with the models instead.
Having promised to meet up with the girls later at Maddox, we said our goodbyes to the lovely Nacho and headed off into Mayfair. And fell right into Burger & Lobster for the best lobster rolls in town.
Glamour immediately thrown out of the window, we shed our jackets, donned our bibs & got down town to business. With only the slightest amount of tom foolery…
Today I’m heading back home to meet my nephew who was born this morning! Huge congratulations to my sister Theodora, I can’t wait to see you both.
