Cannes Day Two

On Monday night we made friends with a boy called D from Washington D.C. We bonded over our love of doing the running man and a fondness for Patron. He asked what we were doing in the morning and wondered if we’d like to go and hang out on his friend’s boat. Ahem… yes, yes we would. After a breakfast of beef carpaccio, caesar salad and ice-cream (we’re strange girls) at Baoli Beach Club, we headed out.

Elephantile behaviour.

With the wind in our hair and The Beach Boys on the stereo we sailed to Cap D’Antibes for lunch at the sister restaurant of one of my favourite places in London, Le Petit Masion.

This was the most incredible truffle ravioli. I ate buckets of the stuff before being presented with salt baked seabass unlike anything I’ve ever tasted before. I was a very, very happy little lady.

Captain D.

A day I think we’ll remember forever.
