Today sees the start of the summer sales. A quick chance to bag a few bargains to see you through your summer, your travels or just stock up for the winter to come.
I’m not much for trawling through messy sale shelves in stores, or even spending hours scrolling through the web versions. Instead I target key areas – gym gear, cashmere and coats, shoes and bags.
My thinking?
You always need a good pair of sneakers (even if you end up pairing them with more denim than lycra!). A good coat never goes out of style and I can pack it away so it feels like opening a little gift come autumn. Shoes because, um… shoes! And bags because they can last a lifetime.
