Rather than race through all my San Francisco posts, I thought I’d mix in a few London festivities along the way!
London is a total dream when it comes to Christmas shopping.
You can go find everything from tiny little boutiques to whopping great department stores and everything in between.
Even hardcore online shoppers like me can’t resist venturing out into the glittering streets for a few treats to pop under the tree.
Especially when the rain finally stops!
There’s something about red busses and blue skies that just makes my heart sing.
Not quite trusting that it had gone for long, I stuck to my waterproofs which have been a life saver this week.
Black coat (similar, comes in 3 colours) // Skinny jeans
Red Prada tote (snagged in the sale here!)
Marching along Regent Street, enjoying the new decorations (the best they’ve done in years) and hunting for the perfect pressies for the littles in my family.
I’m working with Hunter this Christmas and they asked if I might like to pop in to check out their flagship store, which is so new I hadn’t even seen it yet!
3 floors of all things British, rugged & outdoorsy.
Just the spot to find a few pressies.
And perhaps a few teeny bits for me… ’tis the season after all!
Black poloneck // Sparkly necklace
My favourite floor?
The kid’s floor, of course.
Painted red and plunged into a snowy wonderland, beneath the hustle and bustle of London.
Now, I’m pretty certain my nephew Monty won’t be reading this (he’s two) so I think it’s safe to spill.
I got him a little adventurer set!
Tiny lace up Hunters // Hunter baby backpack
I’m not ashamed to say I tried the backpack on for myself. Monty, I might have to borrow it.
Upstairs I slipped into a few of the new designs.
Perfect with skinny jeans for those who loathe wet toes!
A much more delicate, city ready style of wellie.
I can’t resist a well made duffle coat, so pulled one on with extra warm Hunters; especially designed for the NYFW crowd who were complaining of the cold!
Having toured each and every inch of the store, I checked out and headed off with my loot!
Taxi to Somerset please!
I’ve got some boots to get muddy.
If you find yourself on Regent St this weekend, pop into the store.
Say “Make Tracks” to the cashier and they’ll send you off with an extra gift.
If you’re feeling particularly festive you can take a few littles along to Vanessa Woolf’s storytelling tomorrow.
Take in the sparkle of Regent St, indulge in an enormous hot chocolate (or perhaps a mug of mulled wine) and treat yourself to a little festive day out, before the madness of Christmas really descends onto London!
Have you got your tree up yet?
I’m going to try and get ours soon, I’ve left it so long… I’m really pining for one!
