Our first morning at The Body Holiday was always going to be an active one!
We woke before sunrise and joined a yoga class on deck, saluting the sun as it rose into view.
Ate a hearty breakfast, pulled on some swimmers and made a beeline for the dive centre.

We hopped onto a dive boat and sailed out into the blue.
Stretching out to soak up the addictive combination of sea air and sunshine.
We sailed along the coastline, bouncing over the choppy waves.
Enjoying the ride, but holding on tight!
We found our respective dream houses.
And decided on a pulley system to send messages and invitations across.
After almost an hour at sea, we came into a cove.
Slipped on our best Bond-Girl gear and slipped under the surface.
The warm, crystal clear waters practically burst with life and shimmering creatures.
Just the place for two wannabe-mermaids to explore.
I weighed up the pros and cons of swimming through this cave ^…
…and chickened out! Convinced I’d be pricked by a sea urchin, I made do with the sea floor.
After what felt like days, but could have been hours in the water, we made for the surface and swam back to the boat.
Lunched on warm banana bread and a couple of Piton beers, overlooking The Pitons.
We floated out at see, searching for the whales and dolphins that frequent the area.
All we saw were a couple of sailboats.
But we weren’t aboat to let it get us down…
The cap’n jumped up behind the wheel and sped us towards home.
Always peering, always checking for for a leaping dolphin or surfacing whale.
But even without them, we had a whale of a day!
