After a day of jungles, volcanos and temples, we were craving some crystal blue.
No, nothing cooked up by Heisenberg… THIS!

Nusa Dua beach is one of the quieter ones in Bali.
On Sundays spots like Finn’s and the main beaches can get overrun with people. But here we were treated to a practically deserted strip of sand and shockingly blue waters.
Waves lapped at the shore, painted kites fluttered in the sky and we set up camp under some leafy green trees.
Tania, Halcy and Valentina got stuck in right away!

We spent the day running between our towels and the sea.
Hip hopping over scoldingly hot sand and wallowing like happy pigs in the cool water.
And playing in the waves too, of course.
Bella just bein’ a babe.
As per.
Flash tattoos on Halcy’s epic stems!
When you arrive at the beach you’ll be ushered towards sunbeds by eager young men.
Skip ’em.
Walk left along the beach until you come to a little cluster of trees.
The sand is softer here, the water clearer, and there are fewer people.
Plus it’s a perfect little playground for hyperactive adventurers!
There’s only one restaurant, but it sells cracking satay chicken and buttery lobsters.
So one is really all you need!
The tide goes out in the afternoon and transforms the beach.
No more waves to play in. You’re left with shallows for snoozing.
You can walk out for what feels like miles, and the water just laps around your ankles.
The perfect spot for a bit of an afternoon doze.
Just make sure you slap on lots of SPF, guzzle water and seek out shade now & then.
Still rocking my stack of Silver May bangles. I don’t think I’ve ever had more compliments on my accessories than with these babies!
My particular favourite it the “promise” one. It just works on so many levels.
Having had our fill of sun, we headed home to Santai.
Back on wifi everyone caught up with Instagram!

Eager to sooth my salty skin, I poured myself a bath.
Threw in lashings of bath oil, foam & salts.
Sunk in and let the waters swirl and wrap around me.
Just as I leant my head back and closed my eyes, two cannon balls landed in my tub!
There’s no keeping a good thing to yourself on a girls’ trip!
We scarfed down snacks,
Before tucking into a few rounds of cocktails and room service.
I don’t think I could possibly love my roaming mermaids any more than I do!
This trip might be the best idea we’ve ever had.
