Little Black Dress

Sorry boys, this is a post just for the ladies.

Girls, something momentous has happened.

They said it couldn’t be done, and to be fair I had my doubts… but I have finally found the must illusive of garments.

I have snagged the ultimate Little . Black . Dress.

Last night I zipped it up, pulled on some Choos and marched out into the setting sun for a supper date.

It’s a Keepsake dress.

Lined with a nude slip and topped with the lightest, swishiest, tule-like fabric.

It nips you in at the waist, lengthens legs and hints at cleavage… without being too full on.

It makes the most wonderful shadows, too!

They do a black version, a white version and even a maxi version.

Along with a few other crackers…

Going for the “all black errthing” look, I paired it with my “all black errything” Pocket Watch.

Black leather, black hardware, black diamonds and shimmering numerals that look almost blue in the light.

Don’t forget I’m working with them on their new campaign to launch a new career in the fashion world!

Well worth entering if you’re feeling plucky. Could be a life changer.

Now, the reason that this is a style post, rather than a restaurant one… is that I love the restaurant far too much… and because of this I’ve already told you about it a hundred times!

The one & only Hotel Costes.

We sat on the terrace (the best spot for people watching) and slurped icy mojitos.

I started with snails and a few bites of his burrata with parma.

Before moving on to crispy duck (and far too much French butter piled on top of far too many crunchy bread rolls).

It was the perfect evening and so romantic, I was even allowed to take a picture of my gorgeous date!

After dinner we sloped off to the fireside for another drink and sank into plush, velvet chairs.

The entire place is bursting with roses and the air is heavy with the smell of them.

But the one thing I really can’t get enough of in Paris?

The gargantuan indigo doors and finding out where they lead!

I hope you’ll follow me through a few more next time?

Ps. My little jacket was a half price find! Surprisingly warm and very sturdy. I feel a bit like a squirrel collecting treasures for Autumn.

Update: I’m sorry the dress sold out so quickly. Have popped a few other crackers below!
