Regents Park, London

Autumn is slowly slipping into winter.

We may only have a few sunny, golden, crisp and clear days left.

What better excuse to get out and make the most of them?

One of the easiest ways to truly soak in the glory of Autumn in London is by visiting Regents Park.

The best things in life are free (the second best are fattening) and this place is no exception to that rule.

Mr Custard quite agrees.

(Though I think he would reorder the “Best Things In Life” list.)

Blending in.

Camel coat (v reasonable and very cosy)

Huge cosy jumper // Skinny jeans

Suede sneakers

Crunching through a golden cathedral of waving leaves, light cascading through the branches and dancing on the floor.

I can think of few places as lovely for an early morning walk and mug of coffee.

Wearing Silver May acorn earrings – an acorn on one side, an oak leaf on the other…

A little bag of essentials (dog treats mainly!)

And some fabulously comfortable, walkie appropriate, footwear.

Just the thing for hours of fetch!

Be sure to hunt out the Espresso Bar for a cuppa and a pastry.

Ideal for a spot of people watching…

…or just quiet contemplation.

Take your coffee to go and stroll through the gardens.

It’s bursting with surprises.

It really is the most magical time of year!

Are you feeling festive yet? Or still enjoying the harvest season?

I’m feeling festive, 100%, although I was a bit shocked to find out that the Christmas lights at home in Dublin have already been switched on! We’ll be waiting another little while before they’re on everywhere in London, but that’s ok, it hasn’t stopped me from having three peoples gifts sorted for Christmas already!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Beautiful! I live in Cyprus (after 4 years spent in London) so I miss out on the whole changing colours action, but the sun and sea makes up for it =)

Hi Rosie, what size did you get in the jacket? would you say its true to size? Thanks! xxx

  • I always LOVE Regents Park strolls. It looks so incredibly gorgeous at this time of year too, the colour of those leaves are just beaut. I am kiiiiiiiiinda starting to feel festive, but reluctant to let go of autumn just yet! Immy x

Those colours are breathtaking but it’s Mr. Custard that has stolen my heart, he’s such a model! I have 4 doggies, so taking photos of them for my blog is a little chaotic!

  • Annie

These photos are beautiful, all of the colorful trees! I love this coat, ASOS always has the best prices. Hope you’re enjoying the last bit of fall weather!

  • Kblossoms

    Beautiful fall foliage! Breathtaking

  • Love the colours of this post Rosie! Like you I love autumn and it’s been an absolute dream to see all those beautiful shades of yellow, orange, brown and red happening across London. Somehow, those colours have not yet arrived as much in Richmond Park near where I live but I will be heading out there at the weekend to see if I can get a few nice shots myself in that spot. Your looks are always so classy and yet cool, I will be checking out your recommendations! Thank you! Hugs from SW London, Julie

  • Such beautiful golden leaves! I love your outfit too, I don’t have any camel in my wardrobe at all but I’m going to change that now, it’s so lovely and warm looking for Autumn and Winter xxx

  • Wow – it looks SOO beaut!

Beautiful! I just found your blog a couple of weeks ago and it’s already become a favorite. It’s so refreshing to see a blogger who prefers minimal, sophisticated make-up to those awful lash extensions and magenta lips. And your photography is spot-on. Thanks for another great post (and for making me miss London more and more with every post)!

  • Mr Custard is so gorgeous, and a natural poser too, it seems! The photo of him looking at all the trees and leaves is just utter perfection. I can hardly ever get my Albert-monkey to stay still – but then again he is a springer spaniel! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  • Joules

Beautiful photos! I love Mr. Custard in these–he’s so cute! Love your outfit too!

I am already missing London and this post makes me miss it even more! I was last there this spring and I will be living vicariously through my son while he is there with his grandma visiting family next week! Love the photos and so happy to see someone wearing sensible footwear! I love pumps but my sneakers are never far ๐Ÿ˜€ xx Rox-Anne,

Way to capture autumn in all of its golden glory!! Regent Park is absolutely stunning — if only Maryland wasn’t so far away.

Leaving my thoughts on fall here,
    Xo, Mary
