Baileys & Amaretto Hot-Tails

These babies are sinfully delicious.

If you’re trying to be good before Christmas, look away now.

Actually… it’s Christmas. Stop trying to be good and join me by the fire for a Hot-Tail!

What’s a Hot-Tail you ask?

Well, I just made it up as it happens.

I decree that it’s what all hot cocktails should be called from here on out!

This particular delight is a mixture of Chocolate Baileys, Amaretto, hot milk, chocolate, nutmeg and whipped cream.

And oh boy, it is gooood.

They’re as easy as they are delicious (which is my favourite kind of recipe!)

To make two you’ll need:

2 mugs of milk

4tbsp Chocolate powder

Chocolate Baileys (or regular Irish Cream if you can’t find it)

Amaretto

Pinch of nutmeg

Whipped cream

Candy canes (optional)

Gently heat your milk in a saucepan and add the cocoa powder.

Stir until chocolatey, add a pinch of nutmeg.

Pour in a good slug of Baileys.

Follow with a generous drop of Amaretto.

Stir until hot and smooth… just like you.

Pour the steaming, glistening, aromatic river of dreams into mugs.

Top with whipped cream, pop in a candy cane stirrer and dust with cocoa powder.

Enjoy somewhere cosy with somebody gorgeous!

Don’t forget to send me a photo.

Of course if you really want to win Christmas, you’ll have to get stuck so far in that you get a chocolate moustache. Look up, raise one eye brow and say;

“What are you looking at? I’m Cocoa Chanel. Now bring me another!”
